PWSCC enrolls more than 1,500 students each semester while maintaining an average class size of less than 12.
PWSCC’s policy of not charging out-of state tuition attracts students from all across the United States and the world.
Currently we have students from Colombia, Ecuador, Nigeria, Cameroon, Japan, South Korea and Latvia.
PWSCC is the only community college in the state of Alaska that has on-campus residence halls. We have apartment style units for 40 students.
PWSCC continues to serve Alaska Native students with 15% of the total enrollment comprised of this group of students.
PWSCC offers the following clubs and organizations to expand your social experience: Phi Theta Kappa, Multi Cultural Club and Student Government.
New for 2009-10. A new student residing in the residence halls for 2009-10 who continues to reside there in 2010-11 will not be subject to any potential rate increase. You will keep the same rate for two years!
PWSCC’s Scholarship program is one of the most liberal in Alaska. Make sure you apply and good things might come your way.
