Outdoor Recreation & Equipment Loan
The Ski for Free program has closed for the 2011-2012 season. Thanks to all who participated and checked out gear! Keep us in mind during the 2012-2013 season, when we will again provide free access to cross country skis, snowshoes, and related equipment.

Conditions of Gear Rental
All gear is free of charge for the first 2 days and is due by 3:00pm on the second day. Each additional day will incur a rental fee at the rental rates listed below. Telephone extensions of the free loan are not allowed. If the Wellness Center is closed for a holiday on the regular due date, the loan is extended, and the equipment is due no later than 3:00pm on the next business day.

Ski package includes: 1 pair skis, 1 ski strap, 1 pair boots, 1 pair poles, 1 pair gaiters, 1 headlamp
Snowshoe package includes: 1 pair snowshoes, 1 pair poles, 1 pair gaiters, 1 headlamp
GPS package includes: 1 GPS unit, 1 pair gaiters, 1 headlamp
Borrowers who fail to return equipment, or who return equipment in a condition that makes it unusable, will incur a fee of up to $400.00 to cover replacement of lost/damaged items. Borrowers with fees assessed against them are ineligible to borrow additional equipment until all fines are paid.
