Fisheries Technology, AAS
The Associate of Applied Science provides students with a broad educational and practical foundation in the field of fisheries technology. Students will be prepared for entry level employment in federal and state agencies, hatcheries, and the private sector. The Fisheries Technology Associate of Applied Science Degree is offered via distance from the University of Alaska Southeast (UAS), Sitka Campus. All degree requirements can be completed at PWSCC; however, students will earn their degree from UAS. Students pursuing this degree must refer to UAS’s catalog for any changes to degree requirements. Minimum of sixty (60) credit hours and a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Of the sixty (60) credits, students must complete twenty (20) credits at the 200 level or above. Students must earn six (6) credit hours of internship.
