Prince William Sound Community College

The Training Department at PWSCC holds a contract with the Alyeska Pipeline Service Company to provide training under what the company terms its Tier III Fishing Vessel Training Program. In the event of a major spill incident, the College has qualified adjunct instructors and staff ready to provide assistance. We also offer certified classes in HAZWOPER, confined space awareness, safety classes in first aid, CPR, and customized cold water safety and survival programs.

Additionally, PWSCC offers students the opportunity to complete Undergraduate Certificates or an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Technology. Emphasis areas of study include safety management, oil spill response, and millwright.
